Based on the work of Abbot Thomas Keating, Thomas Merton and others, Centring Prayer is a method of Christian meditation that places a strong emphasis on interior silence and the centring of oneself on the presence of God.
Our gatherings will be very simple: a time of grounding and then an extended period of silence, without agenda or judgement, to open our hearts and minds to God.
The Zoom sessions will be led by former Jesuit priest, Tchawbaw Cabafi, who has a personal Centreing Prayer practice, and Rev. Meyers.
Dates: Mondays in Advent - Nov 30, Dec 7, Dec 14, Dec 21
Time: 8:00-8:30pm
