On this special Sunday, where we consider what we can offer individually and collectively for the building up of God’s Kingdom of love, Rev. Meyers will offer a personal testimony of faith and reflections on what we as a church community might be called to build at this moment in our history. In addition to our wonderful choir, we also look forward this week to the participation of the Great Heart Youth Ensemble, directed by Dr. Benjamin Stein.

  • Organ Prelude: Kyrie, and Ka’Mura (Sowande)
  • Readings: 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11; Matthew 25:14-30 (For a dramatic interpretation of the Matthew text from Rev. Meyers’ children click here)
  • Anthems:
    •  Psalm 23, from Requiem (Howells)
    •  Higher Love (Winwood/Jennings)
  • Sermon: “Risking Faith” (Rev. Jason Meyers)
  • Offertory: Broken Wings (Page/George/Lang)
