The Rev. Karen Bowles preaches "What's Past is Prologue." When Jesus delivers the greatest of the commandments, he is surrounded, informed and thoroughly steeped in his past. The Kingdom he envisioned, grounded in the story of the Jewish people and shaped by his deep connection to the one he called 'Father', became our once and future story, folding the' already here' with the 'not yet realized' Kingdom of God.
