After our worship service on Sunday October 8, we will car-pool north of the city to the Hollidge Tract in York Region for a spiritual journey through majestic woodlands, including rare stands of old grown White Pines and Hemlocks. The Fall colours should be spectacular!

We will walk approximately 5km over mostly flat ground, but there is an option to do a shorter loop on a fully accessible trail. We will also share in the holy sacrament of communion, where all who approach the table with an open heart will be served. We will plan on leaving Met at 12:45pm and begin walking at about 1:45pm.

Please bring a lunch to eat in the car, walking shoes/boots, water and clothing appropriate for the weather. Get in touch with Rev. Meyers at jasonm@metunited.ca for more information or to indicate that you are coming (including whether you need a ride or can take people in your vehicle).
