The Flanders Library has a collection of close to 2,000 books, periodicals and media available to members and adherents of the congregation. The library is situated in the MET Centre (lower level) and is staffed by a team of volunteers each Sunday.

You can borrow any item except reference materials for one month. Borrowed items should be returned to the "book box," found on the back pew of the church on Sunday mornings, or to the Library on the lower level. Note that materials from the Archival Collection do not circulate.
Our return system operates on a good faith policy. If you forget to return the book, one of our volunteers will give you a quick call to remind you that you have overdue library materials. You may renew your loan unless the item has been requested by another person.
Donations of new or gently used books, CDs, and DVDs are welcome in the following categories:
- Children’s books, especially books that parents or family members can read to children
- Modern theology
- Church history
- Prayer, meditation, or help for family members
- Problems or trends that concern Christians (the environment, for example)
- World religions
The Library Committee will assess the donations for relevance to our collection. Space limitations dictate that very few duplicates are kept. We will find a home for any donations we cannot use. Please contact the Library Committee before dropping off a large donation.
