What does usury and financial skullduggery have to do with with the Kingdom of God? Good question! Jesus’s ‘The parable of the dishonest manager’ is so baffling that Saint Augustine once said “surely this didn’t come from the mouth of the Lord?” Inspired by this very odd story, Rev. Meyers’ sermon this week, “The Sin Sick Soul”, will explore how small acts of resistance can make big impacts in our lives and the world.
