Beginning in September, MET youth collaborate with author, theatre practitioner, and youth leader Jeffrey Dale to write and perform a play tackling the global climate crisis, to be presented in 2020.

About Jeffrey Dale

Jeffrey Dale is the Youth Ministries Coordinator in Shining Waters Regional Council. Jeffrey has worked in the United Church of Canada in a variety of capacities for thirteen years. Jeffrey has worked in youth ministry in both the former Toronto and London Conferences. Jeffrey is also a theatre practitioner and author. Jeffrey was the winner of the James MacRae Canada 150 Award for Poetry. Jeffrey holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing (University of Guelph). Jeffrey lives in Barrie, with his dog, a mutt named Max. Jeffrey truly believes that, “if we are open to seek justice, pursue creativity, and love unconditionally; we will truly know what it means to be together in humanity.”
